In this section, you have to basically upload the following details:

Sample Technical Proposal

Let's prepare a sample technical proposal for the RCC building and see what to include in it. You can prepare a similar proposal according to the nature of the contract.

Scope: 

This procedure is developed for the.....................................................................................(Name of Tender). The latest revision of the project specification shall be used as a reference and is part of the method statement in the execution of work.


Site Organization:

Upon award of the contract and Notice to Proceed (NTP), site organization will be carried out initially in steps as mentioned below:

  1. Delivery of necessary materials, equipment, and tools, along with the required manpower to begin the operation;
  2. Continue to process documentation requirements, including management and regulatory requirements for delivery of business plans, product documentation, models, and other deliverables required in project specifications;
  3. Perform pre-construction activities, including the construction of permanent and temporary trailers;
  4. The contractor personnel taking part in the active remediation activities will receive the required medical surveillance (initial entrance physicals) prior to any hazardous or intrusive site work being performed.

Method Statement:

Samples will be selected and approved by the engineer before starting work.
  • Preparation and execution
All work must be carried out in accordance with the approved HSE plan and customer specifications, as follows:
  • Excavation work should be carried out after the cleaning and excavation work is completed in accordance with the dimensions and height of the monument given by the employer to the contractor. Documents designated for permanent use should be appropriately classified and stored. Filling materials must be compressed according to their properties.
  • The formwork must be designed to conform to the standard dimensions shown on the design drawings. Sealing, lining, mold removal and bracing, and chamfering must be provided to keep the mold stable and in place.
  • Steel bars must be handled and stacked according to engineering specifications. Rebar will be bent and cut according to BBS. Rebar must be placed correctly and safely and provided with adequate cover.
  • Concrete prepared as a mixture should be poured continuously or in layers to prevent cold joints from forming. A vibrator should be used when necessary.
  • Before use, the bricks should be moistened with water and laid in straight lines with English glue. Wooden Chaukhat and windows and shutters should be fixed using anchor bolts, which should be fixed in a perfect horizontal line as per the approved drawing.
  • Screeding work shall be carried out as per the provided specification at a perfect line level. Flooring works like tiles and granite and sanitary fixation shall be carried out as per the drawing and approval of the engineer.
  • Plastering work must be done on a perfect line in accordance with the specifications. Paint will be approved by the engineer. The surface to be painted is prepared with a coat of paint as a primer. The treatment will be carried out by drying for 4 hours before using the next coat.
  • Concelled wiring with HDPE pipe shall be installed in slabs and walls; electric fixtures shall be installed as per approved drawings.
  • Curing shall be done on a regular basis, and quality control steps shall be taken according to specifications. Submit the application review for engineer review and approval.

Site mobilization activities will take place within a week of the award of the contract, as described in the steps below.
